I am so excited to share this wonderful project with you! A few months ago I was commissioned by the lovely and talented Lisa Cuthill to photograph her CD cover & inserts. First of all, it was a tremendous day full of fun. It was sort of like playing all day – wine, appies, wardrobe, and of course hair & makeup. Hair and makeup was provided by the amazing Dana McKinnon. We took over Lisa’s beautiful home for the day and had SO MUCH FUN! Her album is a project of the heart, which is dedicated to her late mother. She was a true influence in her life and musical career. I am so honoured to to have worked on this great project with such talented ladies :)

I will be sure to snap some images at her upcoming CD release party…and you can bet I’ll be wearing my red shoes too :)

Oh Sweet Sweet Lily. You made my day!! I started 2012 with this shoot on January 1st…and what a stellar way to start the year. We had so much fun and couldnt get over how pliable she was – ha. Enjoy this little sneak peek of this simply beautiful 1 week old who is surely loved and missed by all the family back in Ireland. Mom and Dad are dying to show her off!!!

Oh what a sweet Christmas present this little girl was :) Arriving a bit earlier than expected, into a family full of love. A few tears were shed at this wonderful shoot; it can be so moving for new parents to see their beautiful baby all snuggled up for photos :) Lets face it, theres not much else cuter in the world! These are the moments that make my job so fulfilling. Emily was a rockstar for us, and I know she has family across the Atlantic that are going to LOVE seeing these beautiful images of her. XO

A Christmas season full of Newborn Babies!! I have a few to share with you this week, but to start I have this big beautiful boy. This sweet babe had the best hair EVER, a mom that was wonderful and a daddy that was funny and patient.

Merry Christmas everyone! It was a very busy month leading up to Christmas this year…just barely making a couple deadlines for client photos! Phew (!), all were made and I could rest easily ;) However, as the old merry man loaded up his sleigh my little man came down with a nasty flu bug and spent Xmas eve in bed with a big red bucket. Initially both my husband and I were quite upset…but in the end its all about family, isnt it? So we snuggled up with our boy, gave him lots of kisses and comfort, and made the best of it :) Christmas morning was much better and young Jack was able to somewhat function again. We all enjoyed some great friends stopping by to share in some festivities. We are all now looking forward to the time off to enjoy some family time and a fun New Year.

This year was quite interesting for me. The beginning of 2011 seemed to be a bit worrisome, as I wasnt very busy with my Photography business. I almost thought Id have to go back to a day job…yikes!! However, mid way through the year things picked up…and boy did they ever. I was so busy this past 5 months that I could barely come up for air. That, my friends, is a wonderful thing :) A bit overwhelming at times, but I am so appreciative when I get to do what I love for a living. So I send out a very BIG heartfelt Thank You, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Years to all my past, present and future clients. 2011 was a super year and I am blessed to continue my Photographic journey into 2012.
