I took a much needed break last weekend and headed out to the coast to see my dear friend Sandra and her family. We kept extremely busy!  In between visiting, lunches, dinners, theatre and a Canucks game – we were able to get in some great family images.  I hadnt seen these lovely munchkins  for 18 months – when little Miss. O was just a newborn.  What a complete sweetheart! I cant believe the difference in the fall colors from one province to the next. I must say I love the beautiful foliage out west :(

Its been awhile since Ive posted…I apologize. This is a really crazy time of year for me, so I barely have enough time in a day to get my ‘real’ work done.  However today I turn over a new, snowless leaf :) Its Halloween…the ghouls are put to bed and I thought Id get my act together and share one of my recent shoots.  How cute are these two little dolls in their Christmas outfits. I love this family and I like to consider them friends :) We live in the same neighborhood and like quite a few of my clients, our children go to school together. Some of the great rewards of my job…little kids in the school yard running up to say hi. I love that Ive gotten to know so many of them over the years. This also makes it alot easier to send my son to Kindergarten knowing that there are so many nice families with good kids around :)

So, I have been shooting the “Partridge Family” for the past 4 years (since the baby was still in moms tummy), and as you can see they’re a gorgeous brood. I cant believe mom and dad are so relaxed and easy going. Is it a sign of defeat seeing as you’re outnumbered?! HA Seriously, I have one child and I feel defeated at the best of times! Mom is so vibrant, and dad is pretty darned funny and laidback. What a great environment when you’re desperately trying to capture four little spirits running around the hillside!! Enjoy :)

After a few failed dates due to bad weather, I finally got the chance to meet up with the Groot Family.  It was a beautiful early morning, and we got some amazing light to work with.  It was such a pleasure to photograph their two LOVELY children… it was almost ‘too’ easy?  Thank you again for being so great.

A few months ago this gorgeous girl had a terrible accident on her bicycle, and as you can see, she has made an incredible recovery.  She likes to say she has a ‘million dollar face’ after all the work thats been done.  I thought this was such a beautiful image of her, looking so mature and peaceful :)

We set out on a lovely Sunday morning to capture some fun family photos as well as some maternity photos for Jackie. She looks SO amazing…and I would think that it probably attributes somewhat to keeping up with this very FAST 19 month old!! Little Mr. I was a hoot; he has a huge personality and gave me so many great expressions to work with. I hope you both got some rest after all your hard work keeping up with him during our session!

It was so nice to get a family together with grandparents, kids and grandkids.  Luckily we were able to get a big family photo before the 2 little ones decided to venture on!  Wow…Im pretty sure these two didnt stop once. Thank goodness for a fast shutter speed!! HA Thanks again for braving the pollen at the park (Aargh!); I know you all enjoyed having your family together regardless :)
