Over the years I have been approached and donated many ’sittings’ to good causes. Well this summer a fundraiser was held for “Generations of Hope”, a foundation that I have been involved with for a couple of years now, and I was happy to oblige. I was so excited when the winner of the session turned out to be this little stinker… Happy, joyful and gorgeous little Ronin :) not to mention super fun mom and dad! What a great way to start a day.
Baby Dani-Jane…what a doll. I suspect mom and dad are going to beat the boys away with a stick when she’s older! She is an absolutely beautiful little girl :)
When Mom called about doing her baby girls photos, I had to break it to that at 1 month old, she was likely too late to have her ‘newborn’ images done. But, we figured we’d still capture this age and give it a try…no guarantees. This was crazy…first of all a 1 month old sleeping throughout the session??! (that hardly EVER happens!) As us moms know that this is the stage of awareness, cluster feeding and extreme growth. But WOW…Dani Jane amazed us all and slept like a baby :) I have to chaulk that one up to a mom who knows her baby girl SO well…knowing what makes her sleep, and better yet KEEPS her asleep! Thank you so much Michelle…you are an amazing first time mommy!
I have to also giggle a bit here. Dad was a bit hesitant to go shirtless for me (as most are!). So, Im thinking I must be quite the talker…because, quite honestly, I always get what I want! HA. I like to joke that my studio motto is “I eventually get everyone naked” LOL. Mom and I had a secret little “woo yah!” when we got that shirt off. Thanks for being another trouper to add to the list Dad :)

Mom drove more an hour and half each way to have her precious girl photographed! I am honored that you came all this way and assisted me with your mommy magic. Kalli was such a sweet girl. Although at 6 weeks it is much more difficult to get those ’sleeping’ photos, she was still extremely content and we were able to get some great images of her.

I was so excited to finally meet little man Jack today :) When we did moms maternity session a while back I got to ‘know’ Jacks baby bump very well. They were so excited for him to arrive and I could sense how much love they already possessed for him. Today was no different. He is one well cared for little boy – and OMG…look how darn cute he is! Jen is such an amazing first time mom…so calm and funny too! Daddy is the ultimate caregiver and was just as easy going. Theres is so much love in this family….and I really look forward to seeing Jack grow over the years :)
What a sweet doll little Lyla was for me today. She is 9 days old and was so content. Even though Ive been bombarded with newborns lately, they all seem to be so big! So, its been awhile since Ive been able to cuddle such a small little girl :) Mom was so patient and calm. Enjoy the photos of her sweet little girl.
