the Mintz-Krupa Family

Filed under: kids! — lisamcdonald @ 5:17 PM

I had the privilage of shooting this family again…however this year, a new addition!  Welcome baby Brynn :)  You have two very lovely big sisters to help you every step of the way.

Heres a couple of some fun pics from the session.

I just love the sass and feel to this image of Miss.R. Love the hair flying and bounce in her step - you can see shes got her groove on!!   What a doll.

Mom and Dad brought the cutest matching Christmas dresses with matching hats…even for baby Brynn.  OMG…how cute is this for a Christmas card!

the lovely Peltier girls :)

Filed under: kids! — lisamcdonald @ 11:21 PM

This morning was a gorgeous, abnormally warm, quasi-Autumn day for a shoot outdoors!  I am so happy the Peltier family made it across town to come see me.  I have known their mom & dad for many years, from my old ‘work’ days and it was such a treat to finally meet these two lovely young ladies.

Look at those gorgeous blue eyes.

What a gorgeous little 2 yr old. This little girl kept me on the toes, I dont think we were in one spot for longer than 2 seconds during the whole shoot… gotta love those toddlers!  I love the nice backlighting we got on so many of their photos.

the ’sweater’ from mommy’s childhood.  how lovely and sentimental to include in your shoot :)

I look forward to capturing your whole family next time!  Thank you so much for coming to see me ladies :)

Vashti is on Fire!

Filed under: Lifestyle — lisamcdonald @ 4:01 AM

Well.  what can I say.  When Vashti was looking for some nice photos I was pretty pumped.  She wanted sexy but classy – I think we nailed it honey.  This woman knows how to work a camera – she made my job very easy!!  You look stunning Vashti and you were such a pleasure to work with.  Thanks again doll.

Fall is the busiest time of year!

Filed under: LMP Notes — lisamcdonald @ 2:27 AM

I just wanted to post a little note to let you know that Ive been extremely busy shooting Preschools and lots of families lately, so I apologize for the delay in correspondence.  I always want to make everyone happy…but unfortunately that means I sometimes put too much on my plate!!  I feel like every waking moment is spent on downloading, editing and designing.  So, I hope that you will be patient with me and know that I WILL be sure to get all your prints and storyboard creations to you in time for Christmas :)

…there it is.  the C word.  not a snowflake has dropped and were already fretting about Ol’ St. Nick!  Please note that the Christmas cut off date for storyboards and canvas prints is December 1st.

Thanks to you all.

Sweet Pea

Filed under: Babies — lisamcdonald @ 3:22 PM

If this was not the sweetest baby to photograph.  I have been lucky enough to know Miss. T’s parents for quite a few years now.  In fact, I had the great privilage of shooting T before she even came into this world!  Her mom was one of my all time favorite Maternity shoots.   Apparently she has no problem working the camera either :)  what a doll.

Love the expression of pure joy :)

Hignett Family

Filed under: Family — lisamcdonald @ 3:57 AM

Today I met the Hignett family :)  Firstly, I cant believe this beautiful woman just had 2 babies in the last 18 months (!!!! OMG).  Lindsey is so calm and, really, they are amazing parents. Ive met so many families over the years, where this big group would have mom through the roof.  But not these two!  You guys were amazing, and the kids…AWESOME.

we started in the studio and then, being such a great day, made our way down to the park.

I love this shot.  We took a break while dad tried to get ‘R’ happy.  Some of the best expressions are when you dont even know you’re getting your picture taken :)

I made sure to capture some lovely moments between mom and dad as well.  We so often forget about us as a ‘couple’ when we have children, and I am SO pleased that L & C took the opportunity for some ‘quiet time’.
