Last night I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing M & K (and their two cute dogs). What a great way to get comfortable for those upcoming wedding photos! Fish Creek Park offers loads of backdrops for photos and I think we likely used every single one of them! We had a great time, lots of laughter and silliness, and of course some quiet tenderness… Thank you again for being so great you two! I wish you all the best on your upcoming tropical destination wedding :)

precious moments
at the beginning of the summer I was hired to shoot a 50th wedding anniversary. Wow. 50 years. I had to know the secret… Eleanor sweetly said “Patience, compromise and a good sense of humour”. What great advice. Here I thought it was a good bottle of red wine at the ready…. apparently I need to look over the rule book again.
Well, while the festivities took place I was able to snag some family members for some individual photos. These images of their youngest granddaughter were just too precious to keep to myself.
Family fun @ the Park
This week I had the privilage of meeting up with a previous client. I had photographed lovely Emma’s preschool last year, and was so excited when Mom called me to set up a family shoot. What a great family…with lots of patience. The shoot took a wee bit longer than planned. You never can tell what a 3 yr old is going to have in store for you. Luckily we had perfect weather and a good sense of humour :)
